Sean McCullough is a Nationally recognized Operations Executive with a demonstrated record of exceeding profitability goals, turning around underperforming locations, sharpening operational performance, driving revenues, building market share, and developing exceptional teams.
Sean spent 19 years with Dave and Buster’s in national roles overseeing multiple locations, ultimately as VP of Operations. He was an operational leader that helped grow the company from 9 to 74 locations and was directly involved in opening/operating 56 locations.
In his final role he led and managed a business with revenue of $260 M, EBITDA of $58 M, and a team of 4,200 hourly employees and 130 salaried managers. He was also responsible for D&B corporate level bar and kitchen innovation teams, with the mission to create national programs to improve the concept and secure top market share in food offering, bar relevance, cutting edge gaming, and demographic participation across multiple groups. Additionally, Sean was responsible for National Store level programming and local store marketing efforts. His leadership on these fronts helped to enhance the brand’s awareness and supported business growth by targeting emerging demographic groups and developing restaurant and bar concepts along with musical, entertainment, and sports programs.
Sean’s 30-year career in the Food and Beverage industry encompasses operational leadership from local entertainment clubs to individually owned restaurants as well as large corporations. Sean has served in multiple capacities across his career while consistently exceeding key financial and operational goals. His most recent role was Chief Operations Officer for KidZania USA where he oversaw day-to-day operations, including strategic initiatives and implementation to ensure business growth throughout USA, and Russia. Sean spearheaded, supported, and mentored operational teams while defining and executing business strategies, plans, and procedures to accomplish companies short- and long-term objectives. Additionally, he developed comprehensive goals and data/metrics to track and report overall business performance and growth.
Sean founded Mac House Consulting which consults with leading entertainment and F&B companies like Lucky Strike and Ardent Leisure (owner of Main Event) and startup entrepreneurs on initiatives including brand growth, sales building, hospitality management, marketing, people development, improved guest experience and margin improvement. Mac House also renders assistance on planning, launching, and enhancing all facets of existing and start-up establishments while implementing effective strategies and industry’s best practices to achieve set outcomes.
Sean’s passions include spending time with his beautiful wife Miranda and 2 sons, coaching youth football, and building and racing cars. He also gives back to the community volunteering with Make A Wish Foundation and TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) and youth mentoring in his church.
